In the first half of 2017, the Richardplatz South neighborhood experienced an increase in threats, vandalism, burglaries, assaults, and violent acts targeting business owners and, in some cases, residents.The goal of this short-term project was to develop a strategy, in collaboration with business owners and affected residents, to address these threats. This included fostering better collaboration and mutual support, enhancing the de-escalation skills of business owners, and creating joint support structures, including partnerships with youth centers in the neighbourhood.
